NAME

smart2cfg - Compaq Smart-2 EISA/PCI and Smart-2SL PCI Array Controller ioctl utility

SYNOPSIS

smart2cfg -c [ controller_num ] smart2cfg -d [ controller_num ] smart2cfg -h smart2cfg -l logical_drive_num [ controller_num ] smart2cfg -p physical_drive_num bus_num [ controller_num ]

DESCRIPTION

smart2cfg issues controller-specific ioctls to the Compaq Smart-2 EISA/PCI and Smart-2SL PCI array controller using the smartii(7D) driver. smart2cfg provides information about the Smart-2 and Smart- 2SL controllers installed on the system, the Logical and Physical drives as well as the details of the ReadWrite cache present on each controller. The utility is text based and is driven by command line arguments. smart2cfg and the smartii(7D) driver communicate using ioctls. smart2cfg also supports multiple commands.

OPTIONS

-c controller_num Print cache details of the cache on controller controller_num. -d controller_num Print details of all the physical disks, all the logi- cal drives, and the cache on controller controller_num. -h On-line help for the smart2cfg utility. -l logical_drive_num controller_num Print logical drive details of the drive logical_drive_num on controller controller_num. -p physical_drive_num bus_num controller_num Print physical drive details of the disk physical_drive_num on bus bus_num on controller controller_num.
